Four-segmented form with 8-10 vertical rows of pores on the third segment. External ribs very pronounced. Shell cylindrical after the third segment.
Dimensions:
Total length: 100-120µm. Thoracic length: 20µm. Maximum width: 40µm.
Remarks:
Pleistocene forms are characterized by less cylindrical shells with more irregular pores.
