Who owns Radiolaria.org?
- Radiolaria.org is currently owned and managed by Jane Dolven and Hans Skjerpen, but we are working on placing the responsibility of Radiolaria.org with a learning institution (University).
What happens if these persons decide to stop working on the site?
- If we decide to stop working on Radiolaria.org, we will give someone else, within the radiolarian community, the opportunity to take over and continue the work. The technology for the site is based on Open Source (not scrambled/encrypted in any way), and is documented for any programmer familiar with Apache, PHP and MySQL, to be able to continue development.
Will there ever be a fee for using Radiolaria.org?
- No! The site is free and will continue to be. Anyone taking over Radiolaria.org will have to sign an agreement, ensuring the following: (1) Ensure that the work continues. (2) Keeping the site free to use for anyone. (3) Give someone else within the radiolarian community the opportunity to take over if they decide to stop working on the site.
What are the copyright guidelines for sites like Radiolaria.org?
