Clathrocircus stapedius with latticed bilocular cephalis Richard N. Benson (09/12/2003)
Upon re-examination of the illustrations of Goll’s (1968, 1972) Dendrospyris damaecornis, I do not find them to represent the same forms as illustrated by Benson (1966, pl. 22, figs. 1-2). As originally described by Benson (1966), I reconfirm these forms to be more completely developed specimens of Clathrocircus stapedius with bilocular cephalis completely latticed except for the dorsal face.
