Clathrocorys murrayi

New comment/discussion

Defining feature of Clathrocorys murrayi
Richard N. Benson (16/01/2004)
I included in the synonymy only those taxa whose illustrations from the literature show each keel consisting of two large gates, one defined by an arch extending from the three-bladed apical horn to the upper part of the cephalis and a second defined by an arch extending between the lower half of the cephalis and the proximal portion of the foot at the node where the arched bars of the thorax originate. Tests from the Gulf of California that have incomplete keel development were also identified as Clathrocorys murrayi.
