Dictyophimus sp. cf. D. tripus

New comment/discussion

This species corresponds to the genus Dictyophimus
Richard N. Benson (14/01/2004)
This species corresponds to the genus Dictyophimus because the dorsal and primary lateral bars extend as heavy, three-bladed ribs in the thoracic wall; heavy, three-bladed foot-like spines extend from these ribs at or just above the basal thoracic margin. The illustrations of Lophophaena and Lophophaenoma listed in the synonymy show the three thoracic ribs extended as foot-like spines at or just above the basal thoracic margin.
